Meet Mrs. Darling

I'm so excited to be entering my sixth year teaching 4th grade at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School!  Fourth Grade was my favorite year in elementary school and I just love teaching this age level.  There are so many special projects and events in Fourth Grade that we're always making treasured memories together!

Prior to teaching 4th grade, I taught 1st grade for seven years in Austin, TX and Indianapolis, IN and I was a middle school Reading Interventionist for three years in Carmel, IN.  I have my B.A. in Elementary Education and Reading from Saint Mary's College in Notre Dame, IN and I have my M.Ed in Reading Education and Special Education from Texas State University.  I'm licensed Grades 1-6 General Elementary and I'm a K-12 licensed Reading Specialist as well as K-12 English as a New Language.

Outside of teaching, I LOVE spending my time with my husband, Chad, and our three children; Mary, Joseph, and Sadie.  Mary is 5 years old and in kindergarten.  Joey is 4 years old and entering Pre-K and then my baby, Sadie is two.  We like to watch Notre Dame Football and the Chicago Bears.  The kids love going to the zoo and the park and I love decorating and re-designing my home taking inspiration from Joanna Gaines! :)

I'm looking forward to a wonderful year with your child and watching him/her learn and grow!
